Assam Health Infrastructure Development & Management Society (AHIDMS) has released an employment notifications for the recruitment of 2 State Human Resources for Health Specialist (SHRHS) and State Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist (SMES) posts on purely contractual basis for the World Bank funded “Assam State Secondary Healthcare Initiative for Service Delivery Transformation (ASSIST)”. AHIDMS Recruitment 2023

1. State Human Resources for Health Specialist (SHRHS)

No of posts: 1

Pay: Consolidated Pay in the range of Rs. 90,000/- (Rupees Ninety Thousand) to Rs. 1,20,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Twenty Thousand) per month.

Age Limit: Upto 60 years as on date of advertisement.

Educational Qualification: Applicant(s) must be a holder of Masters Degree in Statistics or MBBS (PG/MD/MS-desirable), from any Govt. recognized university/institution.

Experience:
# Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience post qualification of working at the state level public health data systems, report development etc.
# Experience of design and implementation of large-scale public health studies
# Experience of 3 years’ in analysis of public health data, report development

2. State Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist (SMES)

No of posts: 1

Pay: Consolidated Pay in the range of Rs. 90,000/- (Rupees Ninety Thousand) to Rs. 1,20,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Twenty Thousand) per month.

Age Limit: Upto 60 years as on date of advertisement.

Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a Post-Graduation in Human Resource Management, Public Health, Business Management with specialization in HR/Public Health/ Social Work with specialization in Public Health, from any Govt. recognized university/institution.

Experience:
# At least 10 years’ of relevant experience post qualification in Human Resources of which at least 3 years in Human Resources for Health (HRH).
# 3 years’ experience in developing and implementing monitoring systems for improvement in health workforce planning would be an advantage (desirable)
# Experience of working at the state level public health systems and policy development process will be preferred.

The ‘Assam Health Infrastructure Development & Management Society’ (AHIDMS) under the Medical Education & Research Department (MERD), Govt. of Assam (GoA) has been tasked to implement the ‘Assam Secondary Healthcare System Reforms Project’ (ASHSRP) taken up by the GoA with proposed financing from the World Bank. The project, to be implemented over six years, inter alia aims to improve the district level healthcare services in Assam by improving quality, access and management capacity in selected district hospitals.
